Great ideas 💡deserve visibility, especially when they tackle challenges that have been overlooked for too long. At the Central Germany semi-final of the Female Founders Contest during the MACHN Festival, women-led startups took the stage to showcase their ideas. Our colleague Swantje Jung was part of the jury and had the opportunity to evaluate a strong lineup of female founders together with the other jury members. 🏆A big congratulations goes to Simone Sabbione and her startup Meliodays Medical: Meliodays not only won the audience award , but also secured the jury prize. The #femtech startup is developing a locally acting, hormone-free solution for menstrual pain, addressing an important women’s health challenge that deserves more visibility, research and innovation. It’s great to see formats like the Female Founders Contest powered by Business Angels Club Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.
