At the 📍OWF - Ostdeutsches Wirtschaftsforum 2026, the focus went beyond structural transformation. The discussions addressed concrete answers to key challenges of our time: from energy and industry to digital sovereignty and resilient value chains. For us at SpinLab, this year’s OWF was special: the de:hub Initiative joined with its largest startup delegation to date, contributed to numerous program formats, and brought founders into direct exchange with decision-makers from politics and business. A highlight was the Energy Networking Table. Together with hubs and decision-makers, as well as companies such as FlyNex, Nanolope GmbH and elementarhy, we discussed concrete solutions for the energy transition. The background talks with Minister of State Elisabeth Kaiser, State Secretary Gitta Connemann MdB and Federal Minister Karsten Wildberger also offered valuable opportunities to share perspectives, needs and solutions from the startup ecosystem directly.
