Welcome back to #WiOWednesday! 📣 This week, we're excited to feature Neha Khatri, principal scientist at the CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation. Her journey into optics and photonics began with an early fascination for mathematics and physics, which grew into a career dedicated to furthering scientific innovation. At CSIR, she designs and develops high‑precision optical components used across healthcare, scientific instrumentation, aviation displays, thermal imaging, and low‑vision aids. Her expertise centers on Single Point Diamond Machining, enabling the creation of ultra-smooth, geometrically exact lenses and mirrors at atomic-level precision. 🪞 "Trust your instincts," she writes. "Follow your curiosity, and never underestimate the value of your unique voice." Learn more about Khatri in her 2026 SPIE Women in Optics profile: https://lnkd.in/gBfwCW8M
