How can eye doctors spot keratoconus before vision is affected? 👁️🔬 Researchers show how polarization‑sensitive optical coherence tomography, combined with AI, can reveal subtle changes in corneal collagen that signal subclinical keratoconus. By detecting microstructural differences earlier than standard imaging, this approach improves confidence in identifying at‑risk eyes. And, earlier detection can support safer decisions about refractive surgery and better long‑term eye health. ✅ Explore this study, published in #BiophotonicsDiscovery: https://lnkd.in/grrHyPAW
