🤝 In Offenbach, Germany, three new substations will be delivered by 2029 to strengthen the regional power supply, on behalf of Gesellschaft für Hochspannungsbau Offenbach mbH (GHO), for the local electricity and gas network operator Energienetze Offenbach GmbH (ENO). ⚡ The North, East and South substations will feature modern, fully SF₆-free (sulphur hexafluoride, a climate-damaging insulating gas) GIS switchgear at 110 kV and 20 kV. 🔧 SPIE will handle approval planning and erection of the buildings, engineering for primary and secondary systems, installation of the complete protection and control systems, project and site management, as well as commissioning of all the installations, in a constrained urban environment (switchgear bays weighing up to five tonnes).
