🎉Another crowning achievement for The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报 at the 18th WAN-IFRA, the World Association of News Publishers Digital Media Awards Asia 2026. ST’s No Quiet At Home: The Reality of Living With Singapore’s Traffic Noise secured a gold win for Best Use of Audio, while the team’s Headstart initiative received silver for Best Emerging News Providers. Our Chinese flagship, Lianhe Zaobao also bagged a silver award for Best News Website or App Relaunch for its ZBSchools relaunch. Hosted in Manila, Philippines, the 2026 edition of Digital Media Asia Awards saw 150 entries across several different categories from East Asia, Oceania and South-east Asia. It celebrates initiatives that showcase innovative storytelling, deepen audience engagement and shape the future of the media. WAN-IFRA is the world’s largest international press organisation representing 3,000 news publishing companies and technology entrepreneurs, and 40 member publisher associations representing 18,000 publications in 120 countries.
