Our co-founder & CTO, Robert Bedington, spoke this week on the topic of "Quantum Communications and Cybersecurity in the Quantum Era", a session organized by the Singapore Computer Society's Cybersecurity chapter.   This session aimed to educate the broader cybersecurity community about quantum technology as the industry starts pivoting towards quantum-safe solutions. The discussion brought together perspectives from across industry, academia and government to explore how emerging quantum-safe technologies such as Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) can help secure data and communications that are sensitive. Bad actors are already intercepting encrypted data today in anticipation of future quantum computers being powerful enough to decrypt it, making the transition to quantum-safe infrastructure a pressing priority, not a distant one.
