🚀 5 Years of Space Cooperative Europe SCE, the first #SocietasCooperativaEuropaea (#SCE) dedicated to space, for building Europe’s Cooperative Space Economy. Five years ago, Space Cooperative Europe SCE (SCE2 - https://spacecoop.eu/), the Co-Innovation Space Hub, was founded with a clear ambition: to create the first European cooperative dedicated to space, enabling trusted collaboration across industry, science, finance and policy. From SCE2 statutes signed on 20 November 2020 by 9 co-founders from Germany and France, we have grown to 24 members across 5 countries, triggering innovation related to space and working together through more than 20 collaborative initiatives. Selected milestones over the past 5 years – one highlight per year: 🌍 2021 | Space & Health Digital Health for Developing Economies (DHDE) – demonstrating how satellite infrastructure can enable secure, patient-centric digital healthcare in underserved regions. 🌾 2022 | Space & AgriFood ESA BSGN Industry Accelerator AgriFood – managed by SCE, proving real commercial demand for LEO/ISS experiments and enabling funded, flown missions. 💶 2023 | Space & Finance SpaceLinkers – building bridges between space innovation and private capital markets. 📊 2024 | Space & Data Sharing Space Data Space (SDS) Blueprint – advancing interoperable data architectures for the space economy. 🏦 2025 | Space & Capital Markets Space Financing – opening new pathways for debt capital market access for space and deep tech ventures. Across these five years, SCE2 has helped transform ideas into projects, partnerships and in-orbit realities.
