Please see the post below from SP Group for more details. Seven years ago, this was just an idea. Yesterday, we cut the ribbon. 🎉 The Stourup Solar Park is now officially open - and it feels good. Both as a business decision, and simply as the right thing to do. The numbers tell the story: ☀️ 52 hectares 🔆 90,000+ solar panels ⚡ ~59 GWh annual production, enough to power ~15,000 households 🏢 Expected to cover 85–90% of SP Group's total electricity consumption in Denmark Stourup Solar Park is owned through Juelsmindehalvøens Solar A/S, a joint venture we established with our partners Palsgaard A/S (Schou-Fondet) and JUAL. It is an example of what becomes possible when companies align on a shared ambition: accelerating the green transition and strengthening local energy production. For SP Group, this marks a significant step toward carbon neutrality for our Scope 2 emissions. For the Juelsminde peninsula, it is a lasting contribution to locally produced, renewable energy. Seven years is a long journey, and we didn't walk it alone.
