π headspace Oran Park is officially open! π Young people in South Western Sydney now have better access to mental health support with the grand opening of headspace Oran Park yesterday β a new, safe and welcoming space for those aged 12 to 25. Funded by SWSPHN and delivered by Grand Pacific Health, the service offers support across mental, physical and sexual health, as well as help with work, study, and alcohol or drug issues. The event brought together a passionate and committed community, with special guests including: πΉ Amy Prince, SWSPHN Director of Planning & Performance πΉ Hume MP Angus Taylor πΉ Adam Phillips, CEO of Grand Pacific Health πΉ Jason Trethowan, CEO of headspace πΉ Local service providers, youth workers, educators and community leaders, all united in supporting better mental health outcomes for young people in the Camden area. An outreach service in Narellan will further extend access for young people who live, work or study across the region. π§ β¨ This new centre complements other youth services funded by SWSPHN, including headspace centres in Campbelltown, Liverpool, Edmondson Park and Bankstown, as well as ReFrame in Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.
