It’s official. The Bureau of Meteorology has declared a return to El Niño conditions. El Niño is a natural climate pattern in the Pacific Ocean that can influence weather around the world - including here in Australia. Past El Niño events have often coincided with: 🌵 Less rainfall through winter and spring 🥵 Higher daytime temperatures While we’ve had some recent rainfall, BoM’s long‑range outlook for July to September is leaning drier and warmer than average across many areas. So now more than ever, don’t forget about your water use when turning on the tap, every drop counts 💧
