El Niño is a natural climate pattern in the Pacific Ocean that can influence weather around the world - including here in Australia. Past El Niño events have often coincided with: 🌵 Less rainfall through winter and spring 🥵 Higher daytime temperatures While we’ve had some recent rainfall, BoM’s long‑range outlook for July to September is leaning drier and warmer than average across many areas.
