The FIFA World Cup – A Lifetime Experience!! ⚽ Social media is buzzing with analyses of the FIFA knockout matches. As someone who's followed football for decades, I couldn't resist sharing a few thoughts. Football has evolved over years...technology has made the game fairer, more disciplined and more entertaining. Despite all the humdrum about biasedness, racism etc – I think it has been a very effectively officiated world cup if you remove emotions – top 4 quality teams made it to the semis….. though it will never be perfect and there will room for improvement Yet, despite all the innovation, the soul of football remains exactly the same. ·      Individual brilliance changes games. ·      Teams still have to fight together when under pressure. ·      Resilience still separates champions from contenders. ·      Tactical intelligence is a big game changer ·      And belief still matters when the clock is ticking down. Argentina – Champions Think Like Champions Argentina aren't in another World Cup final by chance. Messi continues to produce moments only he can backed by Enzo Fernández, Julián Álvarez, Mac Allister stepping up when it mattered & Scaloni's tactical brilliance—it's knowing when to change the rhythm of a game and force opponents to play on Argentina's terms. World cup is very different from club football like EPL - I think the reason England have not succeeded in world cups is due to a standard style of play in EPL and most of the English players come from there. World stage matches demand adaptation to a new style and new tactical challenge (This observation comes courtesy my son and I agree) Spain – Football Played the Spanish Way Spain have been a joy to watch traditionally. Playmakers, creativity, crisp passing and all 10 players capable of scoring. Against a highly-rated France, they controlled possession, denied space and never allowed France to settle. Lamine Yamal continues to amaze, Dani Olmo has been exceptional, the defence has looked solid and Luis de la Fuente deserves enormous credit for building a team where every player understands their role. It wasn't the most entertaining semi-final. But it was football played with conviction, discipline and complete control outplaying the opposition. The Final As a neutral, I'm delighted that both of my favourite teams have reached the final. The last World Cup was all about Messi's dream but this time I will just watch for entertainment. The only leadership lesson I'll leave —technology keeps changing the game, but people, strategy & tactical acumen, teamwork attitude & belief will always decide who lifts the trophy. #FIFAFinals#TheGreatestShow
