25 years of EFFAT. Last night we were invited to celebrate it, and it brought on a strange, full-circle feeling. Almost exactly 12 years ago, we won our very first public tender in Brussels: a campaign called "Back 2 our Future," coordinated by EFFAT. That project kickstarted our company and opened a door to a world we'd always dreamed of working in, alongside the people on the front line of the fight for a better tomorrow. Fast forward (and, fittingly, "back to our future") and we've come almost full circle: last night we celebrated the launch of EFFAT's new mark and visual identity. This has always been the dream: to earn the trust to design a mark for an organisation of this scale. For those outside the Brussels world, EFFAT represents 121 trade unions across 40 countries. That's 2.6 million members and more than 30 million workers. It wasn't a straight line. Three major directions, close to twenty iterations. Fitting, really, for an organisation built on many voices. We wanted the identity to hold all of that. A mark built in layers, the way solidarity is built: many voices, many unions, many countries, stacking into one. Twenty-five years of it, carried forward. And in all the ways that matter, the essence of the European Dream. We poured all our passion, craft and joy into it, and we're endlessly grateful for the chance. Thank you, Enrico Somaglia, for the trust, and Maddalena Colombi, for the wonderful daily collaboration over these past four months.
