MB PhD Student | University of Cambridge | Neuroscience researcher in Prof. David H. Rowitch’s lab studying astrocyte-targeted neuroprotection and Sonic Hedgehog signalling in astrocyte heterogeneity

After a fantastic 9 years at the University of Cambridge and Selwyn College, University of Cambridge, I am extremely proud and delighted to share that I have graduated from the MB/PhD program with a First Class degree, a PhD, and a Distinction in Clinical Medicine. A huge thank you must go to my Director of Studies, Charlotte Summers, my PhD supervisor, David H Rowitch MD PhD ScD FMedSci FRS, and the MB/PhD course organiser Stefan Marciniak, without whom these achievements would not have been possible. I am excited to continue my journey as an Academic Resident Doctor with a Specialised Foundation Program (SFP) position in Neurosurgery/Neuroscience at Lister Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Dr A S Wilson, MB BChir MA PhD (Cantab)
