Geef nooit toe op veiligheid ! This month, I was in Belgium at the Doel nuclear power plant for a #ManagerialSafetyVisit: 🏗️ On Doel 4 : for works on the peripheral ring of the reactor building and on the cooling tower. I met technicians and engineers who are strongly committed to reinforcing the concrete structure, while always complying with our #OneSafety framework and our #LifeSavingRules. ♻️ On Doel 3 : for decommissioning works in the turbine hall, to prepare it for a its new function, waste storage. I met with project managers who are inventing a new activity, always giving priority to #Safety and #Quality. 👷 I also met with the industrial safety coaches who are permanently present at the plant. Their role ? To have meaningful safety discussions with workers in the field, challenge them, ask them questions, and thus make the #ENGIEOneSafetyCulture program a reality. Many thanks to Peter Moens, Wendy Dierckx, Jurgen Gillis and the teams for your warm welcome and commitment to #OneSafety.
