MBA’28 @ BML Munjal University | Aspiring Project Manager | Business Operations & Strategy Enthusiast | Turning Strategy into Results

This was day 3 of orientation, and three days into my MBA, I'm already realizing that management isn't just about learning how to run a business—it's about learning how to become a better human being. These sessions at BML Munjal University left me with a lot to reflect on. Dr. Shyam Menon, our Vice Chancellor, shared three simple words: "Look around. Think. Experience." It sounds simple, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that some of the biggest lessons aren't found in textbooks. They're found in the people we meet, the conversations we have, and the experiences we choose to learn from. Listening to Mrs. Swati Munjal was equally inspiring. Through stories about Dr. Brij Mohan Lall Munjal, she reminded us that great organizations aren't built only on products or profits—they're built on values. A few thoughts that I'll carry with me: • Take initiative instead of waiting for the perfect opportunity. • Know your customer before expecting your customer to know you. • Integrity isn't a business strategy; it's a way of working. • Businesses create their greatest impact when they create value for society. • Humility makes success meaningful. The day ended with an insightful interaction with Mr. Manish Goyal Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, whose perspective on leadership and the corporate world added another dimension to everything we had learned throughout the day. His thought provoking statement, "MBA is less of an education and more of a career journey", once again reminded me of my long term goal. I'm only a few days into this journey, but one thing is already becoming clear—this MBA is not just going to teach me management. It's going to shape the way I think, lead, and make decisions. Looking forward to learning something new every single day. Prof. Shyam Menon Swati Munjal #BMLMunjalUniversity #MBAJourney #Leadership #Learning #Integrity #ProjectManagement
