What happens when young changemakers from Ngee Ann Polytechnic set out to tackle bedtime procrastination and improve the sleep health of their peers? ๐ โI can focus more during my 8am classes.โ ๐ โIt made me feel calmer, less hyper before bed.โ ๐ฆ โI can focus better during training, and I donโt need to take naps so frequently now.โ These were the real-world results of Into Somnia ๆขฆๆ โ a daring and innovative project ledย by a talented and witty team from NPโs Chinese Media & Communications programme: Jia Shin, Hao Chen, Zi Yi, Jared, and Jun He. Their message reached thousands through: ๐ข Creative short- and long-form videos ๐ข Close collaboration with media and professional partners ๐ข Tireless advocacy on social media and on campus ๐ข โProject Fox ไฟฎ็ ่ฎกๅโ โ a 14-day sleep challenge featuring relatable visual stories of 3 youths taking steps to transform their sleep habits Weโre so proud of their achievements and honoured to have played a part, with John Yu contributing to expert interview segments and providing guidance for their distinctive, science-based youth sleep journal.
