Science becomes more meaningful when people can experience it firsthand. Through #XperiLAB, Solvay helps bring STEM education directly to schools and communities across Belgium with a mobile science laboratory designed to make experimentation more accessible, interactive, and engaging. Inside the truck, students aged 10 to 14 step into hands-on scientific experiences, from exploring microscopic organisms to building solar circuits and testing real-world concepts through experimentation. Every year, the initiative reaches around 10,000 children and more than 170 schools across Belgium, helping make science feel more tangible, approachable, and connected to everyday life. Bringing this mission right to our doorstep, our Leadership Team rolled up their sleeves alongside local HQ employees to dive into these same experiments, capturing the shared energy and curiosity you can see in the video below.
