With football fever taking over the world, our teams had their own moment on the pitch. On 20 June, colleagues came together to Linne-Herten for our annual Solvay football tournament, organized together with the European Works Council. What began as a tradition between the Netherlands and German sites continues to grow. This year, we were pleased to welcome teams from Belgium, including Brussels, Les Petons, and Zandvliet. In the end, Team Bernburg 1 emerged as the proud winner of the 2026 edition.   Beyond the matches, the day meant more. It was a chance to connect differently, outside of meetings and day-to-day work. Being on the pitch together creates real bonds and strengthens the sense of belonging we bring back into our roles. We were also pleased to welcome Philippe Kehren and Carlos Silveira to the event, making it a great opportunity to bring colleagues and leadership together in a more informal setting. Additionally, Philippe visited the Linne-Herten plant as part of the Executive Leadership Team roadshow. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success ⚽
