SECI participated in MNRE's workshop on Strengthening the National Green Hydrogen Mission: State Policies, Hubs & Infrastructure. Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon'ble Union Minister, New and Renewable Energy, launched the Green Hydrogen Certification Scheme of India (GHCI) Portal and highlighted the importance of State-led initiatives, enabling infrastructure, and Centre–State collaboration in advancing India's Green Hydrogen ecosystem. Shri Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE and Chairman, SECI, emphasized on coordinated policy implementation and ecosystem development to achieve the objectives of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. Shri Akash Tripathi, MD, SECI, chaired a session on State-driven Policy & Enabling Infrastructure, where States presented their Green Hydrogen policies, infrastructure readiness, and investment facilitation measures. Shri Sanjay Sharma, Director (Solar), SECI, also chaired a session on Developing Green Hydrogen Hubs in India and presented the Green Hydrogen Hubs concept, highlighting the role of common infrastructure, industrial clustering, and coordinated planning. SECI also presented the implementation framework of the Green Hydrogen Hubs Scheme under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
