Great to see Vincent Tognetti and Assistant Prof. Frédéric Guégan teaching the next generation of computational chemists with AMS at the MODERM workshop in Paris! Workshops are a good reminder that molecular modeling software is also teaching infrastructure. Students can build systems, run calculations, and inspect orbitals, densities, spectra, QTAIM descriptors, and DFT-based reactivity concepts in the classroom. With one-click installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux, a laptop is really all you need to get started. For lecturers planning a computational chemistry course or workshop, we offer AMS classroom license options, teaching materials, and hands-on workshop formats.
