At SOFIAA Health, we may not be an AI‑native company, but we treat AI safety and governance as core clinical responsibilities. Our platform uses AI and Natural Language Processing in TellSofiaa to help women express symptoms in their own words while giving GPs structured information that makes consultations more meaningful. Because we hold Special Category Personal Data, we maintain strict safeguards and never use patient data to train our models beyond structuring unstructured text. AI safety sits at the heart of our AI Governance Framework. Today, our team took part in an AI learning exercise created by our Founder, Dr Jacqueline Koay, exploring ideas from Mythos and how intelligence emerges from scale, interaction and structure. Understanding AI deeply helps us design safer systems, stronger risk management and culturally attuned tools for the underserved women we support.
