At SOFIAA Health, we don’t design for women from a distance. We design WITH them. While many companies choose names, products or features based on surveys, competitor analysis or advertising metrics, we take a very different approach: We start from first principles, grounded in lived experience, cultural nuance and the real language women use. Seen here: the SOFIAA Health team - including our RCA‑trained service designers, Keshav Doyal and Neha Parekh — deep in discussion about the subtle cultural meanings behind potential names for our new AI/NLP companion built specifically for ethnic minority women. Because for us, naming isn’t branding. It’s respect. It’s listening. It’s cultural intelligence in action. Finding the right name “from the heart” - not from secondhand research - is the same philosophy that shapes our AI/NLP questionnaire, our small language models, our content design and every product we build. Because when you serve women who face language barriers, low health literacy and cultural sensitivities, authenticity isn’t optional - it’s clinical.
