SE(LE)CTION - UNREALIZED DESIGNS CAOS – Kompleks Centra za autizam, Osnovne škole Oporovec i javnog parka (2017.) – natječaj, 1. nagrada Problem skrbi o osobama s autizmom umanjit će gradnja odgojno-obrazovnog i terapijsko-rehabilitacijskog kompleksa koji bi ujedno trebao doprinijeti transformaciji svoga okruženja. Osnovna želja bila je arhitekturom stvoriti osjećaj dobre orijentacije, reda i sigurnosti. Zamišljena je niska dvojna struktura koja prekriva središnji dio parcele. Unutar nje formirani su atriji, čime se odgojni proces olakšava smanjenjem distrakcija i proširuje u vanjski prostor. Centar i Škola riješeni su po istim principima – uz bočne strane svake zgrade nalaze se prostori smanjenog intenziteta osjetilnih podražaja koji služe za edukaciju, a u širokim centralnim dijelovima smješteni su prostori visokog intenziteta. Budući kompleks zamišljen je kao mjesto podrške korisnicima na njihovu životnom putu. The primary aim was to create the feeling of good orientation, order and security through architecture. Therefore, a low, two-part structure that stretches over the middle part of the site is envisioned. Inside, atriums are formed so as to facilitate the educational process by reducing distractions and extension into outer space. The Center and the Schoola are designed following the same principles – along each building's sides, there are areas with the lower level of sensory system stimulation, which are used for education, while in the wide central parts there are areas with the high stimulation. The complex is envisioned as a place that provides support to the users in their daily lives.
