🎉 Congratulations to this year’s Apothecaries Prize winner, Dr Mohamed Shiha, Specialist Registrar in Gastroenterology at the University Hospitals of Leicester and newly appointed NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield. Dr Shiha’s research focuses on coeliac disease and disorders of gut-brain interaction, with his PhD evaluating the role of endoscopy in the diagnosis of coeliac disease. The #ApothecariesPrize celebrates emerging excellence in medical and pharmaceutical research, and 2026-2027 applications are now open. ✨️ The Prize is aimed at: • Doctors eligible for a consultant post in the UK within 3 years • Registered pharmacists working towards a recognised advanced level of practice or entry level consultant If you are conducting impactful research within the NHS, academia, or pharmacy practice, we encourage you to apply.
