We are delighted to announce @SPA’s People Analytics Body of Knowledge (BoK) “product team” to build on the great work done by the inaugural 2025 “start-up team.”   The BoK answers the frequent question from practitioners and people curious about the field: "What does a people analytics professional need to know"? The inaugural team, Ramy Ibrahim, SPHRi, PAC, Jaya Maharajah, and Leonidas Guadalupe, Ph.D., launched BoK v1.0 earlier this year. It was SPA's first product launch, celebrated in a webinar on April 2 (see comments for a link to the recording). It’s always hard to get things going. Thank you, Ramy, Jaya, & Leo for your hard work as a “startup team” and for developing the first version based on expert input and setting up the foundation for review and update by the people analytics community. Stay tuned for an update on how to get involved. The new BoK Team of volunteers is led by Ari Tandabany, and includes Cat Rodriguez, Hari Vemula, Jaya Maharajah, and Temi Ariyo, MS. The team will establish governance around updates. The team is supported by SPA’s Education Chair, Amit Mohindra. The BoK team’s ✨VISION✨ is to be the global standard for People Analytics knowledge, used by practitioners, educators, and organizations to drive business impact. The BoK team’s 🚀MISSION🚀 is to define and evolve an aspirational knowledge framework that empowers practitioners, equips educators and advances the People Analytics profession. The team’s 2026 PRIORITIES include: • Evolving the BoK into an aspirational field standard • Deepening its content with academic and practitioner input • Embedding it across SPA's certification, training, and mentoring products • Making it accessible to educators and universities worldwide The BoK will serve as a "syllabus" which will be the foundation for another Education Committee product, the People Analytics Certification Institute, led by Ramy. Stay tuned for the launch of this new team. #SocietyPeopleAnalytics #PeopleAnalytics #BoK #BodyOfKnowledge #PeopleAnalyticsSuccess
