This week at London Climate Action Week 2026, our CEO and Managing Partner Asad Mahmood joined a panel hosted by The Apparel and Textile Transformation Initiative (ATTI) and British International Investment (BII). The discussion was focused on the financing gap and what it will take to mobilize capital at the scale the transition demands in the Textile, Apparel and Footwear (TAF) sector. These themes our Decarbonization of Textile, Apparel and Footwear Suppliers (DTAFS) Fund is being built to help answer, designed to provide commercial debt financing to apparel and footwear suppliers across South and Southeast Asia to fund the sustainability projects the sector urgently needs. Grateful to have been in the room alongside: Kristina Elinder Liljas, Senior Director of Sustainable Finance and Engagement, Apparel Impact Institute, Clare Hierons, Head of Finance & Capital Markets, Laudes Foundation, Anupam Shahi, Global Head of Sustainable Trade Product, HSBC, and Moderated by Dania Siddiqui, Investment Director, British International Investment Thank you to BII and ATTI for bringing together such a thoughtful group of voices on this. #LCAW2026 #ImpactInvesting #ClimateFinance #Decarbonization #TextileSustainability #DTAFS
