Check out my live interactive prototype here: https://lnkd.in/dg2SDAP4 Traditional demand forecasting fails to handle short-horizon volatility. When macro forecasts lag behind real-world market shifts, businesses fall victim to the Bullwhip Effect-resulting in severe stockouts, bloated safety stock overhead, and product waste that drains working capital. To show how next-generation Product Managers can solve these bottlenecks, I built SensingPulse: a real-time, AI-driven Demand Sensing and Dynamic JIT Engine. I have attached the comprehensive PRD and functional wireframes to this post to share the full design process (https://lnkd.in/du_KUHhX) Instead of relying on lagging monthly data, SensingPulse transforms short-term retail telemetry into immediate, actionable procurement workflows. Key Product USPs & Architecture: 1) Dual-Horizon Demand Sensing: Contrasts a stable monthly baseline forecast with a volatile, short-horizon 7-day rolling demand curve using live Point-of-Sale (POS) signals. 2) Adaptive Safety Stock & JIT Optimization: Automatically recalculates safety stock variance limits and Dynamic Reorder Points on the fly based on changing carrier lead times. 3) Human-in-the-Loop AI Governance: Implements an AI Exception Review Queue that flags high-variance demand anomalies, empowering analysts to overrule or authorize surge parameters manually to avoid blind automation risks. 4) Democratized End-to-End Insights: A minimalist control tower featuring a Collaborative Vendor Gateway to seamlessly dispatch automated purchase orders directly to Tier-1 suppliers via EDI emulation. The attached specifications outline detailed data instrumentation frameworks, edge-case management, and success metrics targeting a 15-20% reduction in inventory holding costs. I would love to hear feedback from fellow Product Managers and logistics leaders on how you approach human-in-the-loop exception design in enterprise environments :) #ProductManagement #SupplyChain #Logistics #DemandSensing #AIPM #TechnicalPM #InventoryOptimization #ProductDesign #SCRM #JIT
