We secured a new order from Baosteel Steel Pipe (Ma’anshan) Science and Technology Co., Ltd. for two PQF® seamless tube rolling lines (PQF®: Premium Quality Finishing) in Ma’anshan, Anhui, China. The scope of supply includes two PQF® seamless tube plants with design capacities of nearly 1.18 million tons per year, two cone type piercing mills, two stretch reducing mills, CARTAneo® process software, and redressing equipment. SMS supplies the complete Level 1 automation system, including the Technological Measurement System (TMS) and CARTAneo® software. This enables an integrated solution with Crop End Control (CEC), Wall Thickness Control (WTCA/WTCL), and comprehensive metrology data analysis across the PQF® mills.
