Advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) manufacturers need consistent phase transformation across the full coil length and from coil to coil. But traditional control often relies on temperature setpoints and reacts after deviations appear at line exit, when the critical transformations have already happened.  Our intelligent annealing furnace concept brings a different approach: Measure phases inside the furnace, predict the furnace response, and optimize in real time. That means tighter control of the annealing path while the microstructure is still forming, supported by modeling and AI-based optimization. The result: more stable properties and less waste.
