A home stretch is not a finish line. It is where engineering shows whether it was truly ready. Aluminum Dynamics, LLC is entering the final commissioning phase for its integrated aluminum flat rolling complex in Columbus, Mississippi. SMS group technology underpins the full process chain, and major commissioning milestones have already been achieved in 2025 and early 2026.  Once fully ramped up, the plant will produce 650,000 tons of aluminum sheet per year for automotive and beverage can applications, where tight tolerances and repeatable quality are critical. In this final stage, we focus on stable rolling behavior through integrated automation, reliable coil logistics and inspection, and practical sustainability measures that work in day-to-day operations.
