Well last week we welcomed Charlie Thompson in to the business for a weeks work experience after we were reached out by a great supporter Victoria Fleming requesting some help as he couldn’t get a placement - Victoria supported us at our very first EMCON Engineering & Manufacturing Show in the incubator zone so we could not say no to her happy smiley face 😀 It wasn’t the first outreach for work experience as on Friday Peter Williams and several other Engineering and Manufacturing Network members went and supported Consett Academy with a guess the employer speed networking as they had several children that could not find placements. Charlie though fitted in amazingly with the team and by the Friday we could see how much he had integrated, so with the impending release of #processhistory a part time position around his final year college course was made and accepted So please all welcome our part time junior test engineer Charlie to the SMS Tech family Richard Bradley Nick Adams Ben Gilhespy Maxine Henry
