++ Exploring Swiss Splendor: An Unforgettable Semester Exchange at Universität St. Gallen ++    Hallo! I’m Wei Lun Teo, an Information Systems student at Singapore Management University. I have recently completed a wonderful Spring 2024 semester at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland.    HSG is one of Europe’s leading business schools, promoting a collaborative approach within an open learning atmosphere. I had the flexibility to choose from bachelor’s and master’s courses across various disciplines, ranging from culture to technology and even aviation. Classes were often interactive, with students actively participating and bringing fresh perspectives. Moreover, joining the university’s sports programs and events organised by the Asia Club at the University of St. Gallen and Aviation Club helped me immerse myself in the vibrant student life and meet many new friends.    St. Gallen is a serene, culturally rich city with unique charm. Located near Zürich and Appenzellerland, it is the perfect base for exploring Switzerland. Additionally, it is easy to travel to other parts of Europe during the semester and spring break. I had the incredible opportunity to visit 20 countries and explore 12 cantons within Switzerland. My most memorable experiences include long scenic train rides and invigorating hikes such as the Stoos Ridge Hike and Gastlosen.    My semester abroad has fostered incredible personal growth and a deep appreciation for nature. In Singapore, we often live fast-paced lives, dedicating ourselves fully to our work. However, Switzerland taught me the importance of self-care, slowing down, and maintaining a balanced, adventurous lifestyle. I return to Singapore with cherished memories, a refreshed mindset, and many new friendships.
