We are happy to announce that our very own Gavin Ainsworth has graduated from the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) Apprenticeship Program! SMS group has long been a partner of the GACC and their Apprenticeship Program, which provides on-the-job training as well as practical hands-on lab and classroom training for up-and-coming talent. Gavin began his Apprenticeship with SMS in June of 2023 and has demonstrated technical growth, professionalism and a strong commitment to his role. In 2025, Gavin was named Apprentice of the Year by the GACC due to his exceptional dedication to learning and continuous improvement. Gavin will now continue with SMS as our newest Mechanical Designer!
