Great fun! Yesterday we welcomed our 23 participants who joined our 63rd in house Managing Marine Emergencies course. This course was set up back in the early 90-ies to meet industry needs for training “the next generation”, which remains a current theme. It is always well attended by a wide variety from the global marine industry, such as but not limited to, shipowners, insurers, authorities, brokers, etc.. During this 4-day course, delegates are given the essential skills and processes necessary to control a shipboard emergency. The main objective is to ensure that participants gain a deeper insight into measures necessary to respond swiftly and effectively during the initial phase of a casualty event. We wish our participants all the best this week, but foremost to enjoy the course and have fun. Are you interested to attend the course or do you want to learn more on how SMIT Salvage can assist you / your staff in preparing for or potentially prevent an emergency, please email to [email protected] or [email protected] More to follow this week!
