Did you know? Every employee at Smith+Nephew gets 8 hours of paid time off to volunteer in their local community... and our teams have been putting that time to good use! Here’s what they’ve been up to… 🦔Despite the rainy weather, a team from our Hull site got stuck into nature by volunteering at Lucky Hedgehog Rescue. The team planted shrubs and cleared nettles for the center’s spikey residents. 🌳A team from our office in Pune, India took part in a local tree plantation drive with Grow Billion Trees, planting saplings in the soil and making a difference against deforestation. 🪴And in Hamburg, some of our team visited Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Sternenbrücke , to work in their garden and maintain a beautiful space for families with terminally ill children.
