SMEC was proud to join industry colleagues at the 2026 Women in Industry Awards Gala Dinner, with three finalists representing the breadth of talent and contribution across our business. The Women in Industry Awards recognises the women driving progress across traditionally male-dominated sectors, including engineering, construction, leadership, business and communications. Congratulations to Caroline Luczynski, Marketing & Communications Manager, Global Transport I+E, who was named Marketer of the Year. Her recognition reflects the impact of collaboration across SMEC, connecting engineering, people and projects to translate complex technical outcomes into clear, trusted client and stakeholder engagement that strengthens relationships and communicates the value of our engineering. We also congratulate Jasmine Obermuller, finalist for Rising Star of the Year, and Alexandra Kelly, finalist for Excellence in Engineering, for their achievements and contributions to projects and the profession.
