Phnom Penh, on the afternoon of Wednesday, 6 May 2026, at the Business Development Center, SME Bank collaborated with the Chamber of Professional and Micro Enterprises of Cambodia (CPMEC) to conduct a meeting on the topic of the “Strategic Plan for the Collection and Distribution of Cambodian Products.” The meeting was presided over by Mr. CHEA Sophak, CEO of SME Bank, represented by His Excellency H.E. Dr. PHAN Phalla, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SME Bank. Also in attendance were Oknha Dr. KEO Mom, President of CPMEC, along with management teams from relevant institutions, representatives from ministries, and the One Village, One Product (OVOP) Committee, as well as approximately 150 owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The meeting was strategically organized to bring together various Cambodian products and strengthen production and distribution channels nationwide. Its key objective was to enhance domestic production capacity, improve product quality and standards, and strengthen the competitiveness of Cambodian products against imported goods, while meeting both domestic and international market demands. Through this collaboration, SME Bank reaffirmed its strong commitment to supporting Cambodian enterprises by providing technical consultation and financial solutions to help Cambodian products become a preferred choice among consumers and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
