Why do most gas sensors struggle to be better than your nose? 👃 Humans are remarkably good at recognizing change. Be it a strange smell in a room, the first signs of something overheating or an unusual odor that wasn't there before, we immediately recognize that something has changed. Most gas sensors work differently as they measure predefined substances and compare them to predefined thresholds which works well in many situations but which is difficult in more complex real environments. Understanding changes where muliple smells are present and where change matters for the wellbeing and protection of humans is our motivation that continues to drive our work. #SmellDetection #HumanSafety #SmellIntelligence
