We have some exciting news for you! smartbax is growing its pipeline with the in-licensing of a promising new antibacterial compound series from AiCuris Anti-Infective Cures AG.  This new lead program targets a novel mechanism in Gram-negative bacteria, including WHO-priority pathogens, and is being advanced toward preclinical development. In parallel, we continue to develop our proprietary small-molecule enzyme activators, which trigger bacterial self-digestion across Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. By pursuing multiple complementary approaches, smartbax is addressing the urgent medical need for effective therapies against multi-drug-resistant infections.
