It’s ready! Our shiny brand-new Large Scale Stability Enhanced DC Coupled Hybrid Solution has been officially launched at Intersolar Europe. It sets a new benchmark for utility-scale hybrid power plants by combining photovoltaics, battery storage, and grid-forming capabilities to improve project economics and grid stability.  Our innovative solution brings together SMA's proven technology, power conversion, plant control, and engineering expertise into one integrated approach. Consisting of Medium Voltage Power Station (MVPS), the Sunny Central Storage UP‑S battery inverter together with the SMA Power Plant Manager and dedicated Engineering Services. We’ve ensured this new Hybrid Solution integrates advanced grid forming capabilities across both PV and battery systems. It can provide inertia, fast frequency response and dynamic system support, enabling reliable operation in weak or constrained grids and supporting compliance with evolving grid requirements.
