Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded SLB the first contract under the Ahmadi Innovation Valley (AIV) program, KOC's flagship initiative to accelerate technology adoption across the energy sector. Through the program, SLB will support applied research and technology programs across nearly 100 projects spanning AI, industrial IoT, production optimization, reservoir technologies, water management and energy transition initiatives. The agreement also includes plans to establish a dedicated AIV facility in Kuwait. The award builds on more than 85 years of collaboration between SLB and KOC and supports a shared vision for advancing technology, innovation and capability development.
