ℹ Skyguide concludes the consultation process Skyguide has concluded the 30-day consultation process as part of its efficiency programme. During this period, employees, unions, and employee representatives actively contributed a wide range of proposals to help mitigate the consequences of the announced mass layoff. These submissions reflect strong engagement and a shared commitment to the company’s future. Skyguide is now reviewing these contributions and assessing mitigation measures such as early retirement, natural attrition and voluntary reductions in working hours. The goal remains to minimise the impact on employees as much as possible and to ensure Skyguide’s long-term viability. While these measures are important, structural transformation remains necessary. Simplifying processes, clarifying responsibilities, and deploying resources strategically are key to ensuring that Skyguide can continue to fulfil its mandate effectively. Safety remains our top priority. Skyguide continues to provide safe, orderly, and efficient air navigation services without compromise throughout this period of change.
