Firefighter Sky Tower Challenge raises record $2.5 million for Blood Cancer NZ 🧑‍🚒 1102 firefighters from 279 brigades took on the Sky Tower climb last Saturday, marking the largest turnout in the challenge’s 22-year history. Firefighters from New Zealand, Australia, the USA, and the Cook Islands climbed the tower wearing full firefighting kit and breathing apparatus weighing up to 25kg, all in support of patients and whānau affected by blood cancer. The $2.5 million raised will help fund support services, research, and advocacy across Aotearoa. Our ambassadors Ben Hosking, Sunil Isaac and Matty McLean were proud to join the incredible firefighters taking on the climb for Blood Cancer NZ.
