Did you know the comfy bedding used across SkyCity’s Auckland hotels is made from plastic bottles?   This is sustainability in action. It’s all thanks to our incredible team. They led the switch to DreamGreen sustainable bedding by Vendella, turning used plastic bottles into soft, high-quality fibres. The bedding is designed to feel like traditional feather and down, without the allergens, ethical concerns, or high cost. Comfort for guests, with a lighter footprint on the planet. Since joining the DreamGreen programme in 2018, SkyCity Hotel, The Grand by SkyCity, and Horizon by SkyCity have helped keep 372,569 plastic bottles (and counting!) out of oceans and landfill. Sweet dreams, less waste.
