What happens to 15 years’ worth of TV props? Following the final series of A League of Their Own, more than 5,600 production items have been given a second life in communities across the UK, with an estimated value of over £50,000. Working with PropUp Project and CPL Productions Ltd, these items were redistributed to 38 organisations, including youth services, local charities, animal rescue centres and homelessness support groups. Reducing waste while getting valuable resources into the hands of the people who can use them most is part of our wider ambition to build a more sustainable television industry, and a reminder that the impact of a production doesn't have to end when the cameras stop rolling. Hear directly from the organisations who benefitted.
