A new era of electric mobility has officially arrived in Tallinn! 🇪🇪🚎 Today, we proudly introduced our next-generation battery-powered trolleybuses to the public, marking a major milestone for sustainable urban transport in the Estonian capital. As part of our latest project, we are delivering 40 modern vehicles (22 articulated Škoda 33Tr and 18 standard Škoda 32Tr) that perfectly combine the high efficiency of conventional trolleybuses with the operational freedom of battery-electric buses. Why is this a game-changer for modern cities like Tallinn? 🔋 Ultimate flexibility: Up to 25 km of off-grid operation, allowing routes through historical or dense areas without overhead wires. ❄️ Winter-ready: The 18-metre 33Tr models feature two driven axles for flawless traction and manoeuvrability, even in tough Nordic conditions. 🙌 Uncompromised comfort: Fully low-floor design, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and an electric ramp for accessible, quiet, and smooth rides. “Our latest trolleybuses are designed to meet the evolving needs of modern cities. We were honoured to share this launch event and the very first test drive with Tallinn Mayor Peeter Raudsepp, Deputy Mayor for Transport Joel Jesse, Chairman of the Tallinn City Council Mihhail Kõlvart, Minister of Infrastructure Kuldar Leis, and Minister of Regional Development and Agriculture Hendrik Johannes Terras.
