https://lnkd.in/gJjC7bu4 Supply chains are undergoing a fundamental shift, from being predominantly logistics-focused to becoming financially resilient systems. In this new environment, success is increasingly defined by three critical capabilities: revenue stability, capital efficiency, and access to financing. We are now facing a perfect storm. Rapid advancements in technology are colliding with an urgent need for adoption, driven by geopolitical uncertainty and tightening monetary policy. Yet for many CFOs, CEOs, and CPOs, a key question remains: how can this technology deliver tangible, measurable value? At a macro level, AI has yet to translate into meaningful GDP growth, a reality that will, over time, raise valid questions for investors. However, this does not diminish its potential. At a micro level, particularly within procurement and supply chain functions, AI presents a powerful opportunity to unlock productivity, enhance decision-making, and deliver outcomes that align more closely with overarching business strategy. This week, SKILLSOOP launches its new podcast series, Supply Chain Unscripted – Beyond the Narrative. Hosted by SKILLSOOP’s Managing Director, Richard Hillberg, and featuring a panel of highly experienced industry leaders, the series will unpack the most pressing issues shaping modern supply chains. In our first episode, Richard is joined by Robert Holt, Phil McDonald, and Chris Sullivan to cut through the noise and explore the real potential of AI in reshaping procurement — and how it can be leveraged to meet the complex challenges of today’s economic landscape.
