✨ SIT Accountancy 2025 Closing Recap [Part 1 of 2] As we close the chapter on 2025, SIT ACC SMC reflects with gratitude on a meaningful and fulfilling trimester marked by welcoming new faces and creating opportunities for our students to learn beyond the classroom through office visits, forums, and welfare initiatives. 1️⃣ Day Zero & Amazing Race We officially welcomed our freshmen through two days of orientation featuring faculty introductions, team bonding, and station games designed to kickstart their SIT journey. This would not have been possible without the generous support of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) for the lucky draw prizes and shirts, Fraser and Neave (F&N) for refreshments, and WPS Office for the lunch bentos. A heartfelt thank you as well to our dedicated student helpers who stepped up as game masters and facilitators to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all. 2️⃣ CPA Australia Office Visit Students gained valuable exposure to the accounting profession during our visit to CPA Australia, where we were warmly hosted by Mr Jun Da Lee We were honoured to hear from Mr Chang Kai Chek from KPMG, and Ms Xiao Han G. from Fidinam Singapore, who shared candid insights into their career journeys. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A and networking opportunity, allowing students to connect directly with industry professionals. 3️⃣ Accountancy Forum 3: Into The Audit-ory This forum brought audit to life through real-world perspectives across key sectors. We were privileged to host Mr Jordan Chung Han hui, Business Development Manager from CPA Australia, alongside Mr Chong Yi Goh, Partner at EY Singapore, and Mr Jed Law, Senior Manager at EY Singapore. Through their sharing, students gained valuable insights into Financial Services audit, Consumer Products & Retail audit, and the CPA Australia Charter, with a refreshing treat of Mr Coconut, sponsored by EY Singapore. 4️⃣ Specialisation Sharing Session To support juniors in making informed academic decisions, our Year 3 seniors generously took time after work to share their experiences across the different specialisations. Huge thanks to Teo Masafumi(Applied Finance), Brian Tan (Corporate Accounting), Wyna Ooi Peh Shean (Audit), Clarice Tan (Taxation), and Edrea Ng Wei Ting (Management Accounting) for giving back to the ACC community and offering honest, practical insights. 🔜 More highlights coming up in Part 2, including office visits and our welfare initiative #SIT #SITAccountancy #SITACCSMC #Accountancy #ByStudentsForStudents #StudentLeadership #IndustryExposure
