Six weeks until the 70th Anniversary Homecoming. As we count down to this milestone celebration, we're taking a look back at Sister Cities International's 60th Anniversary. These moments reflect decades of international partnerships, cultural exchange, and community connections that continue to strengthen our global network. At the 60th Anniversary conference in Washington, DC, highlights included the Youth Leadership Summit for high school students ages 14–18, along with site visits, speaker sessions, and peer collaboration. A standout feature was the diplomatic simulation moderated by the State Department’s U.S. Diplomacy Center, engaging participants in hands-on diplomacy, negotiation, and problem-solving. The past laid the foundation. Today's partnerships carry that work forward. The future is ours to build. Join us as we celebrate 70 years of connecting communities around the world.
